The parts of Guitar

1)BODY:
This is the Speaker of you guitar,this is responsible for the clarity of the sound produced.The type of body adds the  flavour to your guitar,the one above is a round hole jumbo model.

2)BRIDGE:
It is the connecting  thing between your guitar strings and the internal of the BODY.the strings vibrate on it in response it makes the air inside the body vibrate and then produces the sound.

3) SOUND HOLE :
It acts as an amplifier,it helps to amplify the sound of the body.It comes in different shapes,the one above is a Round hole,the other types include F-hole,and D-hole.


4)SADDLE:
It is the Supporting  block for the strings,provides the required bend for the strings to be playable.

5)NECK:
A Guitar’s fingerboard,headstock trussrod(it is inside the neck,not labelled in the image,used to give the required bend or “bow” shape to the guitar) are collectivly known as the NECK.

6)PICK GUARD:
A pick is the tiny the tiny thing,with which the the Guitar is played,it often strikes the body when being played with. The pickGuard is an optional protection to save the body from scratches.

7)FINGERBOARD/FRETBOARD:
It is the thing on which you move your left(right hand if you ar a leftie) hand fingers to bring out different music,the higher(towards the right hand) you go the sharper note you produce.

8)TUNING PEGS:
They are the simple screws that help you keep the Guitar in the Right Sound.tighten them and the string notes goes higher(or sharper),loosen them and the string notes go lower(or flatter).

9)NUT:
It is a piece of plastic/bone/fibre that guides the strings to the fretboard.
